Anyone actually had to do it? :D It seems like they're "popped" in so theres a tiny gap between the grill and the bumper

They do look like they just can get taken off, have you looked under the car? try stick your hand in there some how and see what you can do, you dont have to cut other grills off so i dunno if you would have to with this one its just a different design.

The type R version of the DC5 simply pops out. I can't see why it would be any different

Flat head screw driver wedged behind it kind of pop out?

The DC5R and DC5S have plugs there. I think its slightly different with Base/Luxury models.
To install foglights on the Base and Luxury models you've got to cut that bit out.
So I guess theres your answer. Cut it out. If you dont want foglights then use the plugs as on the DC5R?

Ask TimmyB, he has a base DC5....
From memory, he said he had to cut them out.
