I'll be heading to the drags tonight to check out the standard performance of the type r tonight :D if anyone would like to join in the fun, let me know! I'll be in the red type r [CHAN 87] :)

hahaha i wouldnt race anyone in a hurry. those type R's are not meant for speed thats for sure!
just stick to the twisties mate and if u ever want to line a car up at the lights make sure its a jazz or prius!

Hahaha yeah.. The type R is meant for the track and not built with POWAAAAA as a priority. I was just curious to see how it would do in a straight line :P

lol 350z can only do 14s flat, and they have 60 odd more kw at the crank, although 200kg heavier.
sounds right time for a stock type r.

but a usdm si can get in the 14's too. (pretty sure anyway)

im pretty sure 16 is slow for a fn2.
with some practise should be able to at least get a low 15?

yea from what i've been reading up on previously average times seem to be between mid-high 14's to low 15's for stock

im looking to take my car down to motoplex for the first time sometime soon if anyone can be stuffed as well. hopefully ill get below 16secs...

I must remind myself to turn off VSA the next time Im there.. I JUST noticed on my final run when I was trying to launch it with a higher rev.. 1st run was HELL SLOPPY launch.. 2nd run was not bad but only launched at around 4k.. final run I tried to launch at 6k but rev kept bouncing off at around 4.5k... THEN i realised I forgot to switch off VSA lol.. was too late as the lights were going already.. Dumbass! >.<
