So it should! The yanks are broke, and so many cars unsold. But the reason is the government free trade agreement or something with japan. Was announced last year from memory!

LOL @ civic si pricing! How do they sell any of those?

I am not sure if this is a good thing for anyone who has recently bought an Euro,as it might affect our resale values by $2000...

It will however help them to sell more new Euros...its now even better value for money.

Yeah, but I brought my euro at that price, they were that price when they first came out? I know they jacked the price up a few $ anyway.

THats correct, i think late 09 they incresed the price higher, then feb they recuded around 1500, now another 2000... Trust me if the aussie $ goes down, they will increase the price..... I wonder whats the best drive away price can be achieve for base model auto now after the price cut.. possibly 32k driveaway?

a work collegue said he received a broucher in the mail from his dealer for new Accord Euro manual for $29,990.
i asked him to bring it in. he said he threw it away because he already bought his Euro Lux 6 months ago.

although i want to believe him because he's an honest guy, that seems way too cheap.

May possible, that means auto add extra 2300 is 32290. I am sure dealers can now do d/A for base model auto for 32k easily

Yeah, so much so for those who brought one in the last 6 months. I guess resale prices will be hit hard. Cutting prices hurts.

Hi All,
I am new to this forum and currently I am looking for a good price of Euro Lux Auto around Sydney CBD area after 18th Dec 2010. (Current leased car expired on that day)
I am also in dilema as now is almost end of 2010 and not sure should I wait till new 2011 built car or bite the run out deal for 2010 built car instead...
Any advice on which dealer to go?
I had been to Rick Damelian, Larke Hoskins Homebush and Trivet Para.
Thanks.

Raja,I think the prices we paid will still prove to be great prices, because we negotiated, got 5 year warranty/5 year roadside assist.

I dont think there will be much room to negotiate with the new prices...

And one thing to remember...once a deal is done,a deal is done.

Sometimes prices go up,sometimes they go down, but as long as you were happy with the deal AT THE TIME,that is all you should worry about.

We were both happy,so just continue enjoying your car.

Should now be many more Euros coming onto the roads...

Honda had a good month last month,I will soon post the figures up.
