Hi,

To create the best asian stereotype i was driving a lady around with her groceries in the back boot. And once we got out i found out the fish oil spilt all over the boot, this was a month ago and i forgot about it basically i got an accord with fish oil smell in the whole cabin from the boot typical asian ai? haha

I have got the boot steam cleaned with shampoo twice and its still there and the detailer said come back and he will do it again for free which i intend to. Is there another way to remove it?

Oh yeah and more importantly i wanna replace the black cloth on the front and back seats as it's worn out on the front starting to feel rough, would a steam clean soften it again or can i just get a whole new fitted set?

lol, spray some odour remover on it. might work?
you can also think about getting some seat covers and boot liner.

or you can get the seats re-trimmed.

throw some fragrance shit under the driver seats to dominate the smell lol

Im sure fish oil is used in many cooking situations, im no cook anyway but definately not a nice additive to the car.

Yeah well last night i sprayed the whole boot with meguiars cloth n trim cleaner and left it on for 5 mins then wiped it off, this morning its dry and smells fine. Maybe 5-10% fish oil smell left.

I will go to auburn megamall and the guy will do another steam clean of the boot for free he said cause im a regular. I think he charges $25 per steam clean of the boot which has shampoo built into it maybe tell ur mate to go there.

*you may need to steam clean it 3 times before its removed but ill let you guys know the outcome, so far its nearly eliminated. Odour removers will just mix with the fish oil smell you need to lift the stain out and only steam cleaning shampoo can do that.
