Hey guys, just got my DC5s.
Didn't realise when I drove it the first time, but recently I've found that the clutch pedal vibrates. It occurs towards the top (above friction point). I can feel the vibration in neutral and also when driving, also I only really feel it in the clutch pedal itself not the whole car and there is no associated sound. I can shift gears normally so it doesnt seem like a very serious issue but I'm scared that it'll ruin the clutch/gearbox in the long run?
Ive been doing abit of research, and a lot of people claim clutch pedal vibration to be because of distorted flywheel/ throw out bearing etc., though these cases seemed to be only felt with RPMs over 4000 whilst I get it in neutral and idling. Could it be the engine mounts? any help would be appreciated!

Sound like a clicky/speaky sound when your coming off the clutch yes??
If so, this is a common thing, nothing to be worried about.
Either lube the pivot point every service or replace the master cyclinder.
Your call :)
I just get the pivot point lubed up =)

Hey mate,
Nah its just a vibration in the clutch pedal - no sound as far as I can tell. And it begins when you just beginning to depress the clutch - so if you put your foot just touching the clutch it doesnt vibrate, but if you rest your foot on it a bit, which causes it to depress a couple of centimeters, then you can feel the vibration.
Any Ideas?

pressure plate related i think. OR you need a new flywheel.. get a light weight flywheel.
best to take it to a clutch specialist or honda

hey, took it to ultratune and got a guy to look at it. He thought it was the throw-out bearing?
on another note, I have to say that my third gear shifting has gotten abit annoying. tends to pop out abit.. though i know its a common problem..
