Hey guys, I found a problem for my rencently purchased euro.
The auto trans always try to keep the engine running at a low rev and high gear!
I alway found my car running around 60km/h and only 1100rev/min on the 5th gear, is there something wrong with the trans? I have to say and trans is still smooth but not comfortably to accelerate...
Is there any way to make the auto alway gear up around 2000rev or higher or make it to run on the 4th gear around 60km/h?
I am a noob:D

I find the gearing is a bit funny in all honda's but the engines rev higher so give the car more revving, you're probably very light footed on the accelerator im guessing?

I notice on mine at 60km/hr it gets confused between which gear so it'll rev at 3000rpm for 5 seconds then suddenly go back to 1200rpm when it hits the next gear. But if i push it a bit more it won't 'stick' i think honda engines are just designed differently like that.

If it really annoys you get a CVT type trans for a car, I think nissan make them mostly 8 speed CVT haha you won't even notice gear changes. At least that was in the V35 infiniti skyline i was in.
