hey guys, just wondering if anyone could recommend a good brake specialist, SE melbourne. Just getting some squealing from the brakes on my EG at low speeds and the rotors seem to have uneven wear on them so thought i'd better get them checked out

u can just go to any mechanic to get it checked. your rotors can just be machined and pads just probably need a change

thanks for that, thing is, the rotors and pads are relatively new, i'm running dba slotted rotors up front with bendix pads, so i just expected them to last a little longer

how long they been on the car?

go anywhere but noble brake and clutch (corner dingley ave and cheltenham road)

did my commodore and it squeeled like a girl on heat, brought it back, they put something on and still squeeled.. also paid for federo zeros (no noise pads)
and still couldnt fix the squeel

3rd time car went back they changed it out for bendex pads and gave me some really crap pad..

ended up going to a tyre shop and getting them changed to ultimates.

they've probably only been on about a year and a bit? the car was previously my brothers, so i'm pretty familiar with whats been done to it. sometimes i seem to get squealing when the cars rolling slowly and no brakes are applied?

depends on the type of driving u do. a year and a bit of driving, i'd say there nearly worn down. just jack up the car, remove the wheels, and check how much pad meat u have left. wen there nearly at its wear indicator, they will start squealing.
