Hi guys, long time member here.

Kinda signing out of the Honda world for a while.
A couple of months ago, I sold my DC2R, to get something a little cheaper.

Anyway, I wanted the exact opposite of the R for a while and think i've found it on the dark side :p

This is my first rear wheel drive, so as grampa as it is, I should be able to have a little fun in it.
Oh, I also still have an LS integra, that my girlfriend is driving, so not all the way out of the honda world :honda:

Oh, and you know you own a real man's car, when you have a special vent for cooling your balls off, while you drive;

2jz-gte or 1uzfe?

but anyways, the 7m-ge is not that much of a slug for the daily grind.

We bought 2 Cressidas in 86. My son has taken one with 180,000Km to Sydney, to have something tough for commuting, the other with 377,000Km has just been retired from the road, but still serves as a paddock basher, until it dies.

Great cars, but not a patch on my recently aquired S2000.

Yeah, 7M-GE, I think the only thing that really lets it down on performance is the tranny. Just so slow on shifts, though this is the first auto I have ever owned. I test drove an E46 323i a while before choosing the cressie, seriously, cressie more comfortable and more poke than that little 6 had!!

This one had a fresh HG when I bought it, so will consider a swap if that ever goes, but as you say, enough power for daily driving and overtaking :)

5m & 7m motors are notorious for BHG.

Yeah man, sucks huh? That's why it took me four months to find a good !, they are far and few between. I didn't trust any that didn't have a service history... Then most that did have one had recent history of cooling system work, so I decided to stay well clear.

This one was on a Toyota site, the guy bought it off an old man, so he could drive around low key, whilst he needed to for three months. First week, the HG went, so he replaced it nice and fresh... Glad I didn't cop that one!!
