ECU information

Hi guys,

was thinking about getting an ecu for my car which is pretty stock atm, just K&N FIPK exhaust and was just wondering what there is out there to get for a car that hasnt been modded too much and any other info you might have.

What are searching for???? More power or better fuel consumption? ECU tuning alone won't net any gains, so it isn't worthwhile until your looking at seriously modifying your car. And little power increase that can be found, usually comes from trimming fuel maps so your will run leaner, not always a good thing.

you can squeeze 10-15hp out of it with an ECU, if you're running intake, hfc, header & exhaust..

ive herd that the jap spec s2000s have 20 more kws?
can someone confirm this as right or wrong, because i no people who are after jap spec ecu's
and i just got my hands on a greddy ultimate e management which was my plan with a turbo but i feel like tuning the car to run NA with my mugen ram intake and custom exhaust whilst the timer ticks down on my Pz finishing so i can legally drive turbo.

they run a higher compression ratio because of the high 100 octane fuel available in japan - nets a bit more power.
