i have a few things. i have heard they're annoying but i really want one seeing as my current clutch is starting to slip and wear out. firstly, where can i buy one and what are the recommended ones? also is it worth buying over a standard clutch.

There's a few good choices out there, Just remember that OEM is Exedy, so save yourself some $$$ a buy an Exedy, they offer a few good option's, HD is the pick though as you won't lose any drivability. I personally run a rebuilt Exedy Hyper single, I like it, but lots have complained as you will lose some drivability. Exedy can be found as places such as Repco, Autobahn and so on.... you've got internet so search. ACT is another brand i've have experience with, and never had any issues, they offer a few good choices too, however you'll have to source it from the states via a stockist or Ebay motors and find a good reputable vendor.

My car came with an after market heavy clutch when I got it. I found it really annoying at first, especially in peak hour traffic but I got used to it eventually.

no side stepping the clutch doesn't do your driveline any favours that's for sure. Gauge your clutch choice by how you realistically drive, just be aware that a aggressive clutch choice will more than likely end in failure of other driveline parts.

I've also only heard of good results from Exedy clutches. I am also in the process of looking for one for my car. Expensive though !!
