Hey gang, gonna buy a set of 18's for my 2004 euro some time soon. I am going to go with 18x8.5 F+R and am trying to decide of offset.

After having a look here http://www.rimtuck.com/results.php?vehiclemake=Acura&vehiclemodel=TSX&sort=1 I decided that 18x8.5 +40 F+R would be pretty good. I am looking for the wheels to be flush with the guards without having to run too much negative camber!

My main question is, in your experience, do the front and rear match up as far as the size and offset go? If I run the same width and offset front and rear, will I get the same result or will the front or rear look slightly different to each other?

If you run the same offset and width front and rear the rear will appear to sink in more.

I originally thought that may be the case, but looking on the rimtuck website, I am not soo sure now. Are you speaking from experience or just 'hearsay'?

This is a pic of 18x8 +35 F and 18x9 +35 R and it appears that the front is sunken in by comparison to the rear, which to me suggests, that if the front were running another inch wider rims (the same as the back) it would be pretty similar front and rear?

8700s14 I'm speaking from experience. I've got 2 sets of wheels that are 7.5" and 8.5" wide. One set with an offset of 30 the other is 40. Normally I run the 7.5 at the front and this looks balanced between front and rear. So if u run the same 7.5 at the rear it will look sunken a bit.

I did look at that photo and may be it's due to the angle of the shot.

hey racerwannabe is the 8.5 wide rims with the offset of 30? if so does this rub your suspension at all and how much guard work did u need?

Yeah it's 8.5" wide +30 offset. My car is lowered with about 1 finger gap. It does not rub at the rear without guard work. At the front I think it will rub if you dont at least roll your front guards. Mine are rolled at the front and its fine but its damn close.

So by the sound of it, if I were to get 18x8.5 all around and run +30 on the rear and +40 up front, it should be pretty good?

In the pic of the rear wheel, it looks very sunken, is that really an 18x9 +38?

Hey 8700s14 keep us updated if you decide to go +20. Im looking at getting wheels myself but seems to be a very hard decision to get the right fitment but im leaning towards 18x8.5 +31.

I'm actually selling my AME enkei wheels. 18x9.5 + 30, and 18x9.0 +30. Basically perfect fitment. If interested, pm me.

Are they the black meshy looking ones in the for sale thread in your sig'? How many degrees of camber are you running F+R?

How much you chasing for the rims?
