Hi guys i was just wondering how much work would be needed to fit these size rims on a eg hatch? and how much would the stick out from the guards ?

Cheers !

Not much.

You can get away with those specs on factory camber arms. Run a 205/45/16 tire, roll your rear fenders, trim your rear bar near the mounting point, and put the front fender lining behind the fender tabs and bend the tabs back. Or you can remove the front fender lining.

Run 195/45/16 if you want to do less guard work, but all of the above will still have to be done.

You will have to be low though to pull it off, as the car goes lower, the wheels will camber in and fit nicer. Set your toe right and excessive tire wear wont be a problem.

Thanks alexx! but do you how much the wheels would stick out? ive got buddyclub camber arms all round so no dramas with the wheels cambering in.

The tire will tuck under the fender depending on your height and camber setting.

If you are worried about the wheels extending past the fender, the bottom of the wheel definitely will be outside of the fender. But it wont be too bad.

i also seem to be having a bit of an issue, ive been told 17x7.5 is the biggest i will fit on mine. not sure if the suspension is same in mine as in yours. but im curious to see how you go as i also would like sum thick tyres on the back.

where did you purchase your rims if you dnt mind me asking?

15x8 +20 on vision coilovers with all guards rolled (coilovers at lowest setting) had no scrub at all, even on full lock.

Wheels poked out by about 10mm.
