Taking off door trims

Hi guys, anyone here have taken off their driver side door trims to put on a side mirror before? Any tips on where the pins are, etc? Mines an 03 model btw.

here are the instructions for taking off the door trims, my advice would be to very careful detaching the clips on the arm rest as i slightly scratched my car doing so

from the looks of where the side mirror is attached, it should be top left corner after taking of the trim.
