suspension related clunking kind of noise

hey guys, lately my friends and i have noticed that this abnormal noise is getting louder and louder as time passes by, the best way i can describe it is a clunking sort of noise, that was similar to mates apexi coils that had no give/compression i only noticed it on the drivers front side, the previous owner also had a ding in that area so im concerned that it would be related, ive also noticed that when looking at the car the drivers side is lower than the passenger side :confused: but... doesnt feel like that while inside the car im also still on my OEM shocks and springs

any feedback would be great, also if anyones in SA i can show you what i mean =D thanks alot

Suspension upgrade time? stock shock/springs usually go for cheap, so maybe hunt for some if you think that yours may be blown!

haha yea that may be the case but still not sure ==", will just have to buy the coils and go from there

as if my bank account wasnt broke enough =(

is there anyway to check at home if my stock shocks are blown?

Shake the car/bounce the car and after you stop the car should stop straight away. If the car keeps moving then the shocks are gone.

how much for the stock shocks/springs? Do springs ever need replacing? Sorry im a noob.

Springs shouldn't need replacing. It maunly the shocks that will go.

ok i looked around turns out my shocks are leaking... so will need to use this opportunity order up some coils =P

haha yea its pretty good considering now i can get rid of my 4wd height =P hopefully its just the shock and not any body damage from the ding though we'll see when the coils are on
