do you need a h2b kit when putting a h22a in an ek1 or can you use the hseries gearbox?

honestly, did you even try to do any research?

you can do either with the appropriate kit or mounts. I suggest you use google and do some reading ;)

you can use either h or b series gearbox for the swap.

I'm after B series gear box with H2B kit to my babe EK.
Currently has H23A monster with H series gearbox.
Will I need H2B kit, B gearbox, engine mount. Anything else?
Does anyone know how much it will be?
please recomend where I can get this done.

h2b setup pretty much uses B series everything except the H motor,
ek4/9 loom, b mounts, b driveshafts, b gearbox with b starter motor.
generally, it works out better if you're car is already a B series as you have most the items for the swap.

you need to shave your crank pulley (the ps rib) if you currently have power steering,
the question is are you ready to loose ps?

the kit costs $749USD + shipping

if you're car has a H series gearbox, why not look into a 4.7 FD for your current gearbox
probably works better for you.

Ask Benson - he knows these things and he was happy to explain lots of it to me a while ago.
