Ours is actually the CL9 Euro 2.4 litre. It comes standard with cruise control, with the buttons on the steering wheel itself.

Hi Guys

Am from Singapore, I know that we are getting puny engine the big buffalo but due to taxes that is why most capacities here are lower. Imagine buying a Euro 2.0A for A$90,000, please do not fall off your chair, haha.

Yes I know the 2.4 cruise control comes as a standard but am trying to incorporate it into the 2.0. If one of you knows the parts and cost to fit would be most grateful. We have the same steering wheel only have to purchase the the switch assemble to slot it into the wheel.

Slugoid you are right it is has the same engine as the RSX-Type R but ours comes with the K20A3 engine

Even our CL9 2.4 do not have cruise control as a standard feature.

I look forward in having a good chat with you guys.

Cruise is not listed as a separate part on this list. The list is not everything but is the most common spare parts for the Euro/Tsx (the little pictures of the part are really cool).

I am not sure how the cruise is governed - is there a separate cruise module or is it simply controlled by the ECU? I think you may be better off getting a 3rd party cruise control added - it will be cheaper and less hassle.

using cruise control in singapore is quite an overkill.. how far can you go before stepping on the brakes again?

but it will be useful if you drive up north to KL. but make sure u dont fall asleep :D

Yfin, Thanks for the info and parts diagram. I have looked at it quite sometime ago some parts are missing, expecially the speed controller which is to be at the trottle body. I know a 3rd party cruise controls mfg but i would like the control buttons to be on the original steering wheel. Well back to the drawing board.

Mislovic, Yes it is for my runs to KL or north and it help you rest abit at some stretches. I is very useful for always travel alone.

Thanks Guys for your thime ,advice and great imput.

Best regards

You boys have to realise that in Singapore, they can parallel import too, which makes it like New Zealand.. Cars that the authorised dealers don't bring in, the parallel importers can.....

The Accord Euro is essentially a parallel import.. It also means the speedo ends at 180km/h :P.....

Yes you are right, we have the euro-r 2.0 200hp, it is brought in by parallel importers not the agent. The spped limiter can be cut off using a piggy back ecu, not a big problem.
