well im not sure about the rest of the models.. but in my EH i hate how there is no big storage compartments..

i have the ash tray, that little thing on the bottom, glove box and centerconsole..

not really happy with those options..

so i have decided to make my own... right in the middle of the dash..

call me stupid.. but i want to get rid of the top air vent as i find it useless, cover it up and let all the air out from the front vent.

and then create a on dash storage system..
would be nice to be able to store a GPS in there and hard wire it in.. will not need to move it around..
hold your phone, sun glasses.. etc.

ive pulled a few photos from all over the place..
what you guys think?

i will be making it out of fibreglass. if people like it i can make a fibreglass mould and make gel coat copies.

Sounds like a great idea. I have the same problem, nowhere to put my dust cloth!

Fab something up :)

Sounds like a brilliant idea! I'd love to have some extra storage space in my car
I don't even like putting too much in my glovebox since the last one just fell off one day lol

sounds like a cool idea,
id be interested if the fitment was awsome.

you could also try the eg6 coin pocket.
having said that, its not much of a relief.
i use it to put my phone

seems like people do like it..

since im on holz now.. i will get started on it very soon..

just wondering which type of open switch would people like?

ill go out and get some pockets form existing cars and go from there..

ill keep you guys posted.

i was thinking of making a drop in item so no mods needed, take vent out, clip this one in.

the third one looks to be the best design as the lid covers the whole shape. but the hindge system will be hard to imitate

even if its just a drop in with no lid, id be down with it!
or perhaps even a a drop in with vents! that have can retain the vents function(unless u put stuff completely covering it)

just an idea!
