Alright, Ive got my car booked in at King Springs tomorrow morning, however I am having doubts on whether just a set of 'lows' will look low enough, there is a massive gap in my guards and I got 17"s with 40 series profile tires. I just wanna get that gap in the guards a lot smaller without the car scrapping everytime I pull in and out of a driveway and speedbump. Simply the question is super lows or lows, and what people have in there civics(mainly EK, EJ and EM) and if you got any pictures. I measured my gap its like 75mm+ and 30mm king springs lows arent going to change that a great deal I think, so post your suggestions + any photos you got of them please ASAP!!! cheers.

i had superlow on my EK coupe b4, but running on stock 14" and looked pretty good, bot much gap btw the guards and tyres. Though i do scrap at times on speed bump.

i had super lows with 18s on ek. can send u pic but i dont know how
iv got whiteline flatouts which is about the same drop as super lows 50mm, on 15s gives about a 2finger gap.. dont think there will be much of a gap with 17s on with super lows..

Yup... mine dropped atleast another inch a week later.. also remember the car sinks when you sit in it.. especially a passanger.. thats the true clearance of the car...

Go with the superlows, the lows aren't very noticable.

Alright, Ive got my car booked in at King Springs tomorrow morning, however I am having doubts on whether just a set of 'lows' will look low enough, there is a massive gap in my guards and I got 17"s with 40 series profile tires. I have 17"s with 40s on lows and I already get rubbing. If I had superlows on my particular car, it'd be constant rub city. Not sure how people can say they have superlows and get no rubbing at all!
You also don't mention if you're keeping the stock shocks or getting new ones to match the lower springs. Something to keep in mind if you're going with superlows as you'll root your stock shocks in a very short time.
Also, is the offset of your 17" rims suitable for a superlow drop? If not, you'll get rubbing.
I reckon just the lows is a nice enough look without losing all practicality in daily driving. Anyway good luck with your lowering - let me know how you go!

yeh I have kept stock shocks and realise theyll be rooted in a matter of time, probably not the wisest move...and getting wheel alignment done soon too. Keep an eye out for the updated pic's in the gallery!

what you also have to take into consideration when you lower the car that much is the CAMBER of the wheels changes. You will be Chewing through tyres constantly.... i suggest considering a Camber kit to straighten your wheels a little, save the tyres and save some $$$ most of all... unless you are Loaded and don't care!?
