Aim:

Required:
1x 12mm spanner
1x 10mm spanner
1x flathead screwdriver
1x wd40

Steps:
Locate the seat rail bolts, 2 at the front and 2 at the back. Remove covers on the back to reach bolts.

Spray all 4 bolts with wd40s and wait for 5mins for easy removal.

Start removing the bolts with a 12mm spanner, after they are all out, flip the seat towards rear and locate the seatbelt sensor plug.

Grab your flathead screwdriver and push down on the plug/clip, pull to remove.
Then insert the screwdriver from side to wedge the second clip out from seat.

Now, before you put the recaro in, double check to ensure these 3 bolts on both side of rails are tight, you can do this with a 10mm spanner, careful not to over tighten it as i may have done so...

Place your recaro inside the car, connect seat belt sensor first and turn the car key to ignition position to check if its working by clicking in the seat belt.

When its all good to go, position the seat in line with holes and start spanning. Start with the front two, if the back holes do no line up, jump into the seat and slide it back and forward few time to calibrate the rail

Once bolts are all done and tighten, place the cover back on to rails and bob’s your uncle

Other comments:
