Just wondering if theres a way to enable the dvd drive to play normal dvd's/mp3's? i tried searching for answers but nothing helpful came out, any help would be appreciated. cheers

You asked a quick question and were given a quick answer, not rude at all. Playing movies with the DVD drive is not supported by Australian software. If you would like to watch dvd's you will need to purchase a multimedia interface and a separate DVD player. If you want to listen to MP3's, you will need to purchase an audio interface that will replicate a CD changer eg. xcarlink. Actually you will need the audio interface for the DVD as well.
