hey guys i was thining of buying a subwoofer soon but not really sure what is good bang for buck.. i want to stay below 150

Im thinking of sony xplod form super cheap

Are they good? and any other reommendations. ?

they gonna be powered by kenwood amp but dont know which one =D (if this matters)

I rkn that sub would do, in a EK hatch. just for the extra bass in songs, unless you planning to go hard out on bass then get a more high end sub , but that could range from any where as 300 -1k, but for good bass, you will need a good amp

jl 12w1v2 pefect for a hatch best performed when put to about 150-200wrms

Don't get sony xplod, it isnt the best. Butt it is cheap. If you want more bass go for some other brand.

Alpine type S or R. I think alittle more expensive but wait for a car audio excellence or lifestyle store midnight sale. I Ended up with a type r 12 inch boxed for 200 from lifestyle store last year 500 rms too

Imo Kenwood is the best bang for buck. A bit more expensive than Sony Xplod, but cheaper than your typical competition brands.
