Hey guys, im wondering if ku31s in 215/45/17 could be stretched onto 17x9's and not look ridiculous or dangerous. Or would 225/40/17 be a better choice. Thanks

Hey mate, by ridicilous you mean? As in overstretched? Umm in my opinion i think its better to go with the 225/40/17's if you dont want the tyres looking too badly stretched as i had 225/35/18 on my 8.5" rims n they were slightly stretched and weren't dangerous so a 225/40/17 would sit nicely on 17x9's

yeah like lukey said, would be hardly stretched..
i ran 225/35/19s on a 10" wide rim..
that was fairly stretched

225/40/17 would be your better choice

also depends on what type of tyre you will be using, some tyres have 'lip protectors', some are slightly different sized to others, etc.

Im using ku31's. Its got a lip protecter, but i was assuming since its a higher profile, itll be alright. The stretch shouldnt be dangerous when driving hard should it?
