another question is if my engine gets a bigger air intake with whale penis and pod or whatever would the engine wear down faster?

Its exhaust exit. Either straight off the turbo or wastegate screamer pipe. Or maybe both merged in to one.

this is something similar but its on an s2000 but the exhaust exit is on his right side fenders.

no it wouldn't. It will allow your intake to breathe and still suck up air but...

it wont be as effective as running it straight from the front of the car.

Not really. That intake works by 'ramming' ait into the pipe from the car moving forward. Out at the side the airflow would be terrible especially that close to the wheel

Its a exhaust as said, reason being, cause look at the ram style headers, any money says that the turbo is big... usdm styling i guess, big power, good looks, but cant get off the line lol, i cant see any real benefit on running this type of setup except on a drag car (look at the pro fwd drag cars)
