YES you can IF:
1. You bore out your intake manifold opening to at least 62mm to match the ITR TB.
2. Your VTiR P72 engine is OBD2 (98-00 model), that means that your standard 60mm TB doesn't have a fast idle valve at the bottom. (otherwise it wont idle properly)
3. You get an ITR throttle cable to re-orient the throttle opening, or swap over the the D-shaped throttle cable nipple holder from the stock 60mm TB to the ITR TB because they both open the opposite way.
The map sensor only needs to be changed if its faulty, otherwise its identical.

If you're upgrading TB upgrade your IM and intake as well, you'll feel a much better improvement

No it won't be a lot of gain. Maybe some noise and a little more responsiveness, not a whole lot more power.

Love it, but after a few weeks I'm pretty sure it's just that I need a tune man. I'm using a pre-tuned OBD0 ECU from Japan, apparently set for I/H/E and cams/port job but not for larger IM/TB or re-welded combustion chambers. It goes really hard from 6000-9000 RPM and is much perkier down low but is really lacking in the mid-range, feeling almost laggy.
Timing adjustment should help once the head is worked in a bit, then the Walbro and tune should top it off. Really hard to judge the benefits at the moment as they're far from full potential.
