Hey guys, new guy here. My name is Matt, currently staying in Sydney (moving to Zetland -- which is only a few kilos from city, pretty soon.)

I just got my '10 MY11 Accord Euro a month ago, so I'd guess it'd be nice to join the OZ Honda community!

I have a 5 month old Euro.

What car have you come out of,and what others did you consider ???

Which model did you get,and in which colour.

I came out from an '02 Hyundai Santa Fe.

Was considering a few sedans, which are :
- Honda Accord VTi-L [CP3]
- Honda Civic Sport [FD2]
- Mazda 6 Sedan [GYEW]

First thing that came to mind was the Civic Sport, since the Civic is one of the most affordable ones, and I wanted the K20Z3-powered Sport as the R18A1-powered VTi/VTi-L does not have the paddle shifters!

Ended up getting a good deal on the Accord Euro back then in the dealer, therefore ended up getting the Standard Accord Euro instead.

The consideration of colour was the Crystal Black, Volcano Grey and the Buran Silver. I was more in to the Crystal Black though, but my sister liked the Silver, therefore I ended up getting the Buran Silver.

Did you get the automatic ???

If you did,then our cars are twins,as mine is also in Buran Silver.

I also loved the Black,but Silver ALWAYS looks good,does not date,and is eaasy to maintain.

I love a Black car when it is clean,but like all dark colours,to keep them clean is a mission,and they tend to show all the little scratches,etc,so you did well by going for a light metallic.

You're correct -- darker colours are hard to maintain, where light metallic paints are better as it doesn't really show the light scratches and it doesn't look dirty that quickly.
