jsut wondering, how fast your cars reach when redlining each gear.. some turbo car speeds would be nice aswell. ! thanks

3rd ~ 140-150
4th - havnt found out yet
5th - same as above

i think your looking at gear ratios... do a google search and you should find it

After that i dunno about the other two gears, or what 3rd gear will reach, my speedo cable is stuffed and loses the plot after 120km/h, and my speedo is off by about 2-3km/h posotive (ie, speddo shows 80, doing 83). And my car redlines at 6000, which i regulary touch lol, bad for such an old car i know, but she can take it.

Not bad for an old car really, takes a while to get there, thats the only problem lol. And before i get some haters i can prove this with a video.

second gear i have gotten to 105 and that's fuel cutoff. the manual even says 110 so i don't know how you got 120?!

4th gear in the manual says 190

i don't know where you guy's are getting your figures but mine are pretty much the same as what the book says for a dc2 vtir

i believe that the manuals usually give you the limits as they hit redline. These guys are prob going over redline and some may not have the rev limiters. Thus able to get higher speeds.:wave:




i don't know where you guy's are getting your figures but mine are pretty much the same as what the book says for a dc2 vtir

3rd - 148km/hr
4th - 190km/hr

I haven't maxed out 5th.

my oldest bro was drivin back from bondi had some fun then had 2 pay...toll then gave it ...change gear's at 6rpm an hit 140 on 3rd gear :) in his gf civic! not bad..for a stocky

2nd = 100.1kph @ 7000rpm
3rd 147kph @ 7000rpm
4th = 196 @7000rpm
5th = 231 @ 7000rpm

7000rpm is the rev limiter point

Difference between what the manual says and what you get will have alot to do with speedo accuracy (most overread around 5%). By the way does anyone know where to find the gear ratios for an AUDM del sol?
