Type S Car Door Remote

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone has experienced problems with their car door remote for the Integra Type S? I had my car washed today and now for some reason the remote works to open the doors but not to close the doors. I have tried the spare key and it has the same issue so it isnt remote key related.

Does anyone know what could be wrong with it? I presume something must have happened when it was washed. If so what do I need to do to fix it?

Have you tried opening and shutting all the doors again incl the boot?

Yes I just tried doing that and driving the car and then it worked.... thanks for the help.. now I know what to do if it ever happens again

presuming one of your door sensors is a bit worn and now let’s water in, my old car had a issues where if I washed then locked it in the sun the alarm would go off because the bonnet sensor was swimming in water, bit of extra care and a good clean of the sensor and no problems.

Wow, never heard of a car remote opening a garage door. it would be great for me, seeing i have to pass through 4 secuirty doors to just get into my garage :p
