xforce has a replica mugen style muffler...the twin loop...
just wanna ask if anyone has this muffler on their civic...
just give me some comments and suggestions..
i was just thinkin about getting it..cos it's much quieter than the n1 cannon mufflers...
i heard from some exhaust guy, sayin it might be too big on a civic..
just wanna know if it's true.

James please take into consideration I have "mods" to my car which will make it louder.

I have a replica but its a OBX-R brand from USA.
It fizzes and groans but it sounds damn awsome in vtec !
But for the price i paid, i still remain happy with it :)

Yes ur right in away it does groan and it was louder then i expected. In the end you cant find ne other legal muffler that give u power. If you havent notice its much more silent then majority of mufflers out there. To me it sounds good too

yeah it is but u pay for it tho with the annoying fizz when they're cold.
and the annoying rasp when the engine is revving down :(
overall, it sounds deeper than stock and the craftsmanship seems pretty good.

i just got my twinloop installed and it has that damn "buzz/rasp" noise at certain rpm...is there anyway of stopping this...im thinking of adding a resonator but this might just make the note quiter not get rid of the buzz

i think headers will stop the sound.

just recently installed the xforce twin loop on my eg.
with a catback and a resonator..

no buzz/fizzing sound at all.

Yes they do extend out about 1.5-2" more than normal  Thats the only drawback with them. But you get used to it
