Hey I'm wondering what everyone thinks of the road noise when driving their FD's?
My car has always had quite a bit of noise in the cabin, more so than any other honda i've owned. I wsa told its the tyres on my car, and i haven't had to change them since owning so I'm still holding up confidence that the tyres are causing this noise....i purchased car second hand and it had already had tyre replacements, with different ones on front and rear.
my brother in law has a vw passat and it has hardly any cabin noise, he was in my car yesterday and reckons it must be the tyres, but he was certain he had a civic rental car in melbourne and didnt notice any tyre noise like my car has.
im just wondering now that if i get quiet tyres and the noise is there, if something else could be causing it? the car has been fully serviced this weekend, had a few services since I owned it and the dealers all assumed its the tyres making noise.
has anyone changed tyres and noticed a big difference in noise? i have some maxxis tyres on front and radials on the back.
