Recently bought a 1997 Civic for my daughter from a family member who had previously replaced the stock radio/cassette with an after market radio/CD player and the installer told her the clock was connected to the stock radio/cassette player and now it wasn't connected to the new radio/CD player. so would no longer work.
Surely this is nonsense and the clock can be connected direct to the loom via a fuse or something.
If it can, will go to an auto electrician unless picking up the wires is incredibly easy.
Any thoughts, it's just that I like things in a car to work if possible and this just might be lack of knowledge of the installer.
