Hi guys,
Does anyone know where i can get an aft cat O2 sensor for the EP3R? ive tried the Uk versions and the Aus dc5r version but none of them work. I got a price from the honda dealer and its $500, just wanted to know if i can get a local version from somewhere thats abit better for the hip pocket. lol
It let go about 1500kms after i got my headers and full system done, code 1167 came up.
Thanks in advance guys.

I had the same code. Changed the sensor and it was gone.

Yeah I called them up but they said they couldn't get an aft cat.
They can get a pre cat but not aft.
Which one did you replace if you don't mind me asking.

Oh sorry. I didn't read carefully you needed after cat sensor.
Yea I got the primary o2 sensor and so it would be the pre-cat one.
I think the after cat aka secondary O2 sensor should be cheaper than the primary sensor.
IMG told me it was roughly between $120 to $200 and they buy their parts Honda Australia too.
I'd suggest you can try another Honda dealership and just mention you only need the secondary sensor not the primary sensor.
But are you sure you needed the secondary sensor? Reading from the service manual, the code indicates to be the primary O2 sensor.

Hey man, i know its an old thread but i was wondering if you still have the pre cat oxygen sensor?
Mine just busted and i bought a UK versions but theyre apparently not the same (jdm has a wide band from i was told). And its not the same as the Aus DC5 pre cat either.
Thanks!

Ur sure it's the after cat. Have U reset the ecu to see if new codes come up? And no, no sensors from me. Let me know if u get stuck!

Sorry, i was looking at the wrong one, its the aft cat sensor. i bought a second hand one and it worked for a while till a wire snapped off.
Ive gone through alot of aft cat sensors, genuine AUDM dc5 one, Uk EP3R version and an Si USDM version. none of them worked except for a genuine JDM version.

Oh right. Do they have different part numbers?
If so, mind sharing with other ep3 owners for future reference?

Front o2 is a ngk, back o2 is another brand, but I forgot which brand it is
And I don't think it is relate to the back o2, p1166 or p1167 both should be relate to front o2
Ai...I am so lost, don't know what to do
Btw I am in melbourne

Both of mine are ngk front and rear. Do you have a workshop manual? I'm pretty sure 1167 is the aft cat, Thats what my manual quotes and after I changed mine the code disappeared.
