I'm in the same situation. Will like jaxtyres be able to put 215/45/17 on 17x8 or will i have to go to some place that knows how to stretch tyres?

Easy fit, I'm planning to run 215/45/17 on a 17x9 wheel - think it might be a bit of a stretch lol

215 on 8" will be no problem, very little stretch. 205 is flush on 7" so I imagine 215 wouldn't be too hard on 8" at all.

Ive put a 205/45 on a 9" wheel with a normal tyre fitting machine, 215/45 on an 8 will be no problem, almost any store should be able to do this for you.
