Mugen rocket cover

hi, can someone please confirm if this mugen rocket cover is a real or fake. and what are the differences on them, can someone show me whats differnt. thanks

real mugen parts have a part number on it, should have a sticker an all, just like any real aftermarket parts, hks, buddyclubs etc, they all should have a part or serial number embossed an some where a logo or so stamped on

Does it really matter if its real or not? looks pretty good imho fake or not

they made em b-series, but iev yet to ever come across a real one, an very pricey i hear, closer to the 1k.....

performance wise, i heard it can reduce temps down 10-20 degrees, dunno if thats true or not

has to do with were the mugen writing lines up with the holes if i remember correct

having a fake rocket cover would do any harm unless it's made of really poor materials. Are you interested in that particular one? How much is the cost of this item?

Was that the one being sold for $450 or so? From memory it wasn't advertised as a fake when I saw it. I thought it looked good but couldn't justify the money.

At the end of the day as long as there's no oil leaks then don't worry. Think of all the people that re-spray their black rocker cover so that it looks like an ITR one! The replica looks good IMO and as long as it functions properly I think it'll be a sweet addition to your bay :)

nahhh man, it came with the cat a purchased lol but i bought a new motor now so its got a proper vtec cover now. this mugen cover is just a spare, was just wondering if it was fake cause my boss Adrian told me it was real, but we had a customer with a red fake mugen one, and i matched it up, looks exactly the same.. so yeah fake. -.- if it was real.. wuldve worth 1k+ spewing

suprisingly, the qaulity is fine, the inside is actually made the same material as OEM, so no harm. Adrian had a look and its alright for fake.

This mugen cover came with the car i purchased, so i didnt purchase the cover over ebay or whatever. in fact i didnt know mugen evn made covers until i saw mine. i didnt know there was a fake and real until Adrian pointed out the red fake one on a customer car at work and mine looked the exact same. so bummer ay.

+ this cover is fine, ive had it on my car for 5 months and since bought it, nothing went wrong. works like every other cover. just the fact that its not genuine mugen.
