Hi Guys,

Honda advertised and most of us know the Honda Accord Euro is Made in Japan and thats why most of us bought this car. I would like to know where does in the Car itself(doesn't matter base Euro CU2 or Lux Cu2)shows the car is Made in Japan.

I checked for my Euro in Engine bay, could not find anywhere showing where it was made. I also checked in the front passenger door jam plate, that doesn't show where it was made as well.

Thanks

Hey Raja,

If you look at the first letter of your VIN it should be the country of origin.. JHMCU2123456789

The J means it's from Japan!

When the car arrives off the boat and is transported to the dealer, you can see a production slip stuck onto the front passenger windscreen showing country of origin. Once its being thru pre delivery that production slip is removed. Thats one way of knowing where it was built beside the VIN attached to the left front strut tower in the engine bay which is the only clue.
