hi,

I have hids and i was wondering if i was to to spray ek9 style the headlight black would it change the beam of the light?

nope, won't affect beam as long as you don't fawk up the reflectors.

my plan was to do the ek9 style diy. so spraying everything black that is crome apart from thw blinker area.

isnt the ek9 hl's smoked/grey looking not black, just to be safe just get newspaper and tape it good with masking tape. you only want to spray it around the reflectors

naa has no effect...it might reflect a different way but still the same the hids on my ek r bright :) just becareful with ur hids on em coz the housings r so tiny and the bulb just fits..i ended up snapping my lock thing so had to silicone it :(
