I gotta get 4 new tyres ASAP and im looking for something under $200. i dont want standard tyres cause i dont trust myself or my sis driving! lol

These are the tyres ive got in mind so far: 215/45-17
Kumho Ecsta 711 $165
Kumho Ecsta 712 $220
Dunlop LM 702 $238
Yokohama ES100 $250

i havent checked out any Falkens yet...anyone have any opinions about which tyre i should get...im favouring 711's cause of the price...

Cheers!

what do you mean you dont trust yourself or sis on standard tyres? you mean you think your actually going to lose it in normal driving conditions.. i find that hard to beleive.

Just remember that when you go for more performance based tyres they are going to be alot more noisier as well.. Do you drive a civic Vi with 215's?? is it just me or does that seem very wide.. Have you had any experience with any of the them and whats wrong with going with what you had last?

how old is your oem tyres???
bfgoodrich g-force sport will be near the 200 mark and they are good valued tyres, made by michelins too, otherwise the usual Eagle F1, bridgestone potenza range which might be a bit expensive. but at the end of the day you get what you pay for. going cheap on tyres, well then maybe you may as well keep your oem tyres unless if they are bold??

hahaha fair enough,

well 200 for a 17' tyre is pretty low price. i mean if you want something good then its just gonna cost you a bit more then you like.
i guess the best way is to call your local tyre shops and start getting quotes.
thats what i do, if i get a better price somewhere else, i call the original place and they usually go lower just to make a sale, otherwise if you have friends/family who needs tyres, go with them as more tyres the cheaper it usually becomes.
