Help in choosing air intake systems

Hey guys, i wanna get an air intake system for my car and i have been looking into the Simota J's racing copy ones. just wondering what they r like? sound wise, performance wise? wondering if their r any other good intake systems out there, if u guys can recommend any? a down side with the J's racing ones r they dont have a heat sheild, so any alternates or resolutions to that? or if getting the stock ITR intake system being a better option?? Help me out guys!~

i'd just get a replacement filter, less trouble with the police and also helps keep the heat away. K&N make good ones though.
