FN2 MY09 Warranty

Hey guys,

I have just got rid of my Evo 8 MR and purchased a MY09 FN2 Type R, The car is in excellent condition but however the under spoiler or lip; however you call it has some scratches underneath. I was wondering if i was to either replace the front lip, would that void the warranty? and another question since i am here, what does the Honda warranty actually apply to? besides the gear box falling out and my engine blowing up

the explanation i got from the stealer was, whatever you changed on the car leads to the result the damage then its not covered....i think everything is covered except for the wear and tear items (clutch, brakes etc)

modification wise...
ie you change the intake, you could possibly void the engine if it causes bla bla bla to happen ... but your suspension etc is still covered

best to check with the local dealer what their policy is .... so far its a hassle trying to get them to do anything.....the common tip i got told was be an ass and push for it...if they still wont' do it tell them you'll complain to honda australia about the problem then they'll do it ....

I have to agree with br3nny, I complained about my trims not being the right "cw" colour. they said it's all like that blah blah blah... the 2nd I said, I'll speak to Honda Australia give me a number... he buckled and started taking photos and said we'll get back to you and now I'm waiting for parts so they can get installed ...
