Hi there, looking for a $400-$500 headers for my DC2 and came across these replica headers. Are they any good for a budget setup? I'm looking at the narrow version. There's been some big claims from VTecKidd...

The hytech replicas apparently have really bad ground clearance. I'm not really looking to spend over $500 so if anyone has any others in the price range then plz recommend

You're not going to find much better for 4-500 to be honest.

Hytechs do have bad ground clearance and the RMF replicas are pretty good for what they are

what u paid is what u get, for narrow, for the price of the header, there is no much to complain, however, u do need to vut or change your radiator fan plastic bit to clear the narrow header, or change it to slim one

but Hytechs really do have bad ground clearance, friend of my got one with dc2r suspension on eg )stock high), hit the bottom part of the header,

why don;t u try SPfab toda copy header, they going for around that much as well, and got the best ground clearnace out of those 3 headers, but not too sure about the power gain tho,

There's an SPFab Toda copy for sale in the parts section for $550. Otherwise have you considered XForce? They get the job done well for $399 new. My brother is using them on his DC4 and they've been good value thus far.

Yeah I've considered XForce, but the price for the RMF is so close to XForce that I thought it would be better to go RMF instead...

Yeah I saw the guy selling the SPFab, I thought it was a lil pricey... isn't it a ceramic header?

I wouldn't touch Xforce lol.

Better ground clearance than the RMF's? Wow, didn't know you could get a header that is more slammed friendly than the RMF's..

Not sure but personally I like the ceramic coating. It won't stain and fade as much as a stainless will and it's good for heat :)

narrow has good ground clearance, but remember, its still a 4-1 header, so it won;t have as good ground clearance as the 4-2-1, its just what i though,

i did tired the narrow on my b18, its making good power, but i just dont wanna risk any chance of hitting my header, cos the car is pretty low, now i am using stock for daily, planning on getting the SPfab soon

Thanks for the link dougie. I've PM'd him so we'll see how it goes.

Not really a fan of ceramic coating, kinda reminds me of DC Sports. I think for the price I'm willing to spend, the RMFs are the go.
