Step 6. Clean the inner side of the bumper where you want to locate the antenna strip
(antenna strip should be 30-35cm off the ground and should have a 5cm gap from the metal chassis)
Pic. strips are already installed

Step 7. Look for a good place where you can mount the receiver, I did mine near the vent so I
can put the wires through the vent and connect it to the antenna strip
inside part

outside part

Step 8. Receiver installation.
a. Plugin the connector to the receiver

b. connect the black wire to your groundings

c. re-route the red wires to your reverse lamp connector
FD reverse light

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y35/ozcity/carshow/DSC01338.jpg
connect it to the brown wire which is the + terminal
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y35/ozcity/carshow/DSC01340.jpg

Step 9. Mount the alarm beeper under the rear panel... you can mount it anywhere because
the beeping sound is loud enough to hear from the front driver side
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y35/ozcity/carshow/DSC01345.jpg

Step 10. Install the rear bumper this is much easier than removing
Step 11. Connect the wires of your receiver to the antenna strip
This is the plug of the antenna strip...it is much better to put back the bumper first before you connect it to the receiver

Step 12. Testing (Sorry for the dark video) i just use a broom stick to test the sensor;)

Review: Sensor is not bad at all, range is not that wide compared to the oem's with holes, it will beep from 1 to 2ft distance and there is no dead spot along the whole bumper,
Well it's better than nothing to alarm you while backing up

Wow great write up mate. The oem sensors.... are dodgy as they beep at times even if theres nothing behind lol. Would the installation be similar for other cars as well? or would it be completely different? Thanks man

what's your impression of quality on the product?quality is alright..range is not really wide compared to the oem or other sensor that has holes

What do you think of this product? I'm considering getting it and installing it for my motherproduct is not really bad..as ive said its better than nothing.. you will be warned around 1-2ft before you hit the object...oem or the one with
holes is better in term of range.

Would the installation be similar for other cars as well? or would it be completely different? Thanks man^ yep you can install it to any type of car as long as the bumper is not made of metal.. i will post a clear video so you can tell how far the
range is..you can even install it to your front bumper..

for 49 bucks...its worth it...

Can this be installed for the front easily? How would you get it to automatically activate? or would u just have a manually operated switch that u turn on when parking? (lamesauce)
