hey everyone! i'm Rick R. from Los Angeles, CA, USA.!

i currently drive a right-hand-drive 1997 Honda Accord U.S. Wagon SiR. as most of you are aware, importing a newer car from a foreign country into the states is ferociously difficult, but i was able to do it!

here's pictures of my Accord

the car was imported into the states in 2007 from Kyoto, Japan, but it's only been in my possession for about 2 years. the car definitely turns heads everywhere i go, mainly because it's right-hand-drive. i know right-hand-drive isn't anything special for most of you guys, but in a left-hand-drive country such as the states, it's definitely something out of the norm. the exhaust in the pictures has been removed & i'm currently using the factory pipe.

anyways, looking forward to making some new friends here!

:D

congrats on sitting on the right side of the car :P. is it manual or auto? because i'd love to hear whether it was wierd going from shifting with your right hand to shifting with your left.

actually it's auto :(

i also have an S15 that's manual. transitioning from lhd to rhd in a manual car actually wasn't that bad! the biggest issues i have are going through drive-thru's alone or making a left turn when there's oncoming traffic. other than that, it's smooth sailing!

Nice wagon, awesome actually.

Hope you find this Forum useful.

I've driven LHD, manual wasn't that hard, just takes a few hours to get use to. Drove in Asia too, where traffic is chaos.

Driven LHD before, but it was auto. Was a massive Cadillac, holy moly was it a mission just to drive the thing! Kept wandering closer to the line and catching myself.

Drive-Thru! LOL!

If ever I come over to the states, I'm gonna hire YOUR car!

LHD is allowed here but only for cars older than a certain age. So there's old school American cars over here which are still LHD but this being a Honda forum no one is really interested in them.

iv seen some of the new Pontiacs here, G6 ones or w.e its called

Also theres a Camaro thats left hand drove bumble bee one.

I think for the new gen LHD cars they need a massive sign @ the back saying LHD?
