Removing muffler??

what will happen if i remove my muffler and instead just put a straight pipe.

I want to know if i'll lose power without the muffler and if it will be louder?

I liked the sound personally. Can get annoying daily driving it though, but comparing to my current Spoon N1 exhaust I'll take the straight pipe back lol

it sounds nice, just excessively loud. get one made up, only two bolts to switch between dailying mode and weekend bashing mode.

i replaced my muffler with a really small hotdog resinator...i gained power as my muffler a clogged...
its a little farty down low in revs but up high it sounds very nicee

lmfao heard a ek9 rep which had a b20 in it with a straight pipe and this thing sounds mean..u can tell somethings in it and wont even bother...imo do it...it sounds nice on vtec buttt will vibrate and be very loud plus epa fine is alota $$ and can remove ur car off the road so go hard

heres one for the hardcore, just run a simple pipe from the headers pointing down, no cat nothing, simple plain pipe exiting below the engine, or if u want that old skool race look, side exit exhaust, again, no resonators, or cat, just a simple pipe that exits on the side :D
