ek4 and ek1sedan

Hi Guys, does any one know if a coilover for an ek4 fits on an ek1 sedan? Also, does an ek9 sway bar fit on an ek1 sedan.

The short answer is yes for both questions. EK9 rear sway bar is a good bang for buck mod. Just make sure you also get an ASR Brace., endlinks and brackets/bushings to make it fit..

Front and rear sway bars from EK4/EK9 will fit EK sedan.

Rear will require subframe reinforcement.

EK4/EK9 front sway bar is larger than EK sedan by about 4mm off memory.

Thanks guys. when you say subframe reinforcement, do you mean the ASR brace? I already have that on my ek 4.

I am planning to transfer some of the mods across and get rid of my ek4. I need a 4 dour for work. But say what, still going to have an okay enough sedan to play with.

Yea, he meant ASR Brace or an equivalent product. So are you taking the EK9 sway bar out of the EK4 with the ASR brace and putting it in the ek1?

If you are then no worries, it's an easy swap.

Ek1/em1/ej8/ek4 suspension parts are universal fitment for all EKs.
