The owner went to high skool in teh same year with me.

Was originally a Dark blue VTi.

His brother had a White dc2R in High skool.

And he lives down the road from me.

Its a show car, engine is just a d16y SOHC VTEC.

Could you replicate a car like this for $18k, doubt it, saying that the kms are quite low and looks in reasonable shape, I guess if mechanicals all check out then I'd wouldn't feel comfortable paying much more than $15k (I've seen a turbo CRX go for $18k ex show car, slightly higher kms but there'd be +5k on the turbo kit alone)... Not a fan of gull wing I might ad...

.... its not gull wing
its scissor doors

but as has been said, its a show car, its highly unlikely you could replicate it for under 20k

rims [1200 with rubber for 17x7 of those rims]
kit [1800 say]
interior [if its leather, and everything is trimmed, about 3.5k to 4k depending on the quality of leather]
scissor doors [ about 3k installed professionally and properly (dodgy jobs are shit house on the scissor doors)]

there is 10k right there
so say its an Si and he paid about 7.5k or 8k for it
thats 18k right there

you still have the paint, the stezza, other little shit on the iterior like steering wheels, gear shifts and all the other little petty crap that adds up

i would say 18k isn't an unreasonable price, how ever i wouldn't pay that much, i don't want to be paying for other peoples mods. i would offer about 15k and thats it

thats my personal opinion
