How Do I Turn Off Automatic A/C?

Does it bug anyone else that when you press the windscreen demist button the Air Conditioning turns on??

It bugs the hell out of me as I try and drive without A/C on as much as I can, but everytime I change the airflow to windscreen or windscreen and foot, the A/C comes on.

I can forget every now and then and it's been on for half of the trip. Annoying!!!!!

How do I turn that feature (bug) off??

Its not a bug, you need to have the AC on to demist your windows properly.

Cold air helps evaporate the condensed water vapour on your windscreen.

There was a way to do it on the USDM civics but it didn't work for us unfortauntely. it bugged me too, so i just put the air on windshield temporarily and then changed it.
