Anyone here installed aftermarket alarm on their FD?

I want to install a viper alarm but don't know if i'll have to use the viper fob and the key fob at the same time

ive got after market alarm and 3 point immobiliser

mines an upgrade so theres only the honda key

On 07 VTI-L, alarm comes standard with immobiliser, however it is just the sound of the horn going off.

Quick test... open the windows, lock the car with your key and reach in to open the doors the so called "alarm" will go off.

If you are getting aftermarkets, I would advise going with a reputable one. I had an EK many years ago which I installed an aftermarket alarm on (not cheap either), after a few months my car battery started dying off. I then replaced it with a new battery and same thing happened. So I took it to an electrician and found the alarm was the culprit.
