hey guys. just discovered ozhonda..

I have a 97 (cd5) accord. getting coilovers in the next few weeks :D
just wanted to know what brand everyone else is running? and how they are?

im looking at rather Tein SS or KSport. and possibly Megan Racing, but most likely not

Also, is there anyone driving with their coilovers fully slammed?
Post up some pictures of your car what brand coilovers
and if anyone has had experience with Tein SS or KSport

EDIT: so after alottttt of research. ive decided agianst Tein SS. read alot of mixed reviews with ride quality, durability etc but everyone says they dont go low enough. and thats why im buying coilovers. so they are a defiant NO for me now.

Its between KSport, Megan and if i can be convinced by enough people, then mabey BC
Really want to know if anyone is running any of the above!

im running BC coilovers, youll find the ''jdm'' people on here hate on them, but meh, a few other accord dudes run tiens, and ive got more adjustment and can lower it probably another 2 inches over tiens,

Oh wow so teins don't go very low? Hopfully someone running them can confirm. Cause if that's the case I won't be getting them. I'm wanting a pretty big drop. Have u put ur bc's on the lowest setting? How low is chassis from ground you recon?

Looks good :) I havnt looked into d2's but Im pretty sure they are made by bc?
And to the comment above, www.justjap.com are awsome for BC coilovers. 1100 for accord I think

But, I've been talking to a suspension guy and apparently BC and HSD are terrible with breaking and problems etc. Said stay away

Had BC racing coilovers in my CD5. Best bang for the buck coilovers you can get really. Had them in the car for 1.5 years before I sold it. Never had any problems no squeaks no leak. At about 10 clicks from softest, it is firm but not harsh and as smooth as stock. Highly recommend them.

Ahh okay well it seems I've been given some wrong info about the reliability of BC coilovers. Can any of u guys post up a pic of ur ride on bc's and let me know how much lowering u had left? I'm looking to be fully slammed :)

Super Streets at lowest point:

If your a die hard low person, don't go super streets, which you have already discovered.

Based on everyones most recent thoughts, id be going BC's.

They got lowerd spring but not low enough same height as king lows and the reason they dont make it lower is because the springs wont be captive

Must be different at every Pedders, I got a quote from Pedders on the Gold Coast and they reckon $1950.00 for a set of K Sport Pro Dampers NOT installed and $110 for a wheel alignment.
