NRG short hub question??

hey everyone, just wondering if i just bought the short hub and a steering from ebay or somewhere is that all i will need to have a aftermarket steering wheel on my car?? or will i need the quick release too???

no u dont need the quick release, the short hub was meant to be used with the QR to give u more room, but its not needed.

ull just have the steering wheel sitting further away from you.

yeah thats wat i want the steering wheel further away. can someone show me a dyi of how to install one?? is it hard or easy??

very easy to take ur steering wheel off,
should be 2 hex nuts on each side of the steering wheel, that allows u to take the horn off.
disconnect any wires like air bag or horn
undo the center nut holding the steering wheel on
take the wheel off(maybe hard, so be careful not to hit ur self in the face.)
put on the new hub (make sure its straight)
put the center bolt back
then put the steering wheel on

if you got an airbag, disconnect the battery to. dont want that ****er exploding in ur face
