Gidday,

I need to replace my busted front right brake hose on my EK4 Vti-R. I was able to get a replacement front right brake hose off my mates EK4 CXi to replace it. Two questions.

1) Am I able to use the CXi hose no worries?

and

2) What DOT brake fluid do I need to put in?

1) compare the two hoses, if they are the same diameter, length etc yes

2) just use honda brakefluid

notches on caliper/banjo might be different (due to caliper size difference). plus there is no ek4 cxi.
ek4 is vtir and cxi is ek1.

most likely the front caliper hose on cxi is shorter, will be tight if you try to put on your ek4 knuckle.
hose bracket is slightly different too.

ok i'm thinking i'll just go braided lines.

I'm looking at APP,Goodridge and HEL (on eBay). They all seem fairly similar; is there any one I should consider more than the other?
