Hi guys, i have a Honda Integra GSi 1996 model and was wondering if these cars came standard with an immobiliser? I bought it 2nd hand and as far as i knew it came with an aftermarket one however, i need to get a new key (as i have lost it) for it and the locksmith has told me that the key has a chip in it but i dont remember seeing one

you can tell if you have a factory immo with a chip in the key by turining on the ignition
a green key will iluminate on the cluster.
no green key lamp no factory immo
also what does your key look like. post a photo here

if you only had the metal bit of the key then no immo
the transponder woulf of fell out
remove a lock from your boot and take it to a lock smith, They will make you a key
